ELIQUO WATER GROUP, through its subsidiary Enwa AS, has agreed with the Malmberg Group to acquire 100 % of the shares in Malmberg Water AB. This acquisition marks an important milestone for both ELIQUO and Malmberg Water. With both companies joining forces, their strong position in the Nordic water treatment and cleantech market is further strengthened.

ELIQUO is a leading expert for municipal water and wastewater treatment in Europe with subsidiaries in Norway, Germany, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. With more than 750 dedicated water professionals, ELIQUO delivers projects, technology and equipment for water, wastewater, and sludge management to municipal customers. ELIQUO is part of SKion Water, an international group of water technology companies owned by German entrepreneur family Klatten. The family has a great passion for water and the environment and aims to make a positive impact by investing long-term in companies dealing with our most scarce and valuable resource water.

Malmberg Water is based in Sweden in Yngsjö and Lund. Managing Director Erik Malmberg will continue leading the business and its dedicated employees. Malmberg Water's subsidiary in Norway based in Drammen, Malmberg AS, will be integrated as part of the ELIQUO family under the leadership of Sofia Knudsen and will become a sister company of ELIQUO PMI with the responsibility to further develop the wastewater, sludge and service market in Norway.

Malmberg Drilling AB and Malmberg Energy AB, along with their respective subsidiaries, will remain part of the Malmberg Group, with the Malmberg family as owners.
